For me, the best thing about being commute free is the flexibility it gives you. Now that I have regained the time I used to spend commuting, I have a much healthier work-life balance. I now have the time to do (most of) the things I wanted to do, but never had the time for, when I was schlepping to an office every day.Â
Although I love being commute free, I would be lying if I said it is always plain sailing. When I first started working remotely full-time, I found it tricky to adjust. I felt lonely, isolated and sometimes like I might be going mad!
The thing about challenges is that they can be overcome. All the little hiccups I had when settling into my commute-free life have made me a stronger person. And the good news for you is that I have picked up a hell of a lot of tips along the way!Â
Commute Free Me is about sharing my experience to help others work from home well. From advice on how to save and make money to tips to protect your mental health, Commute Free Me is here to help you live a happy, healthy and fulfilling commute-free life!
I love hearing from you so please get in touch if you have any questions, feedback or suggestions.
