The coronavirus pandemic has thrust many into working from home for the first time with no warning whatsoever.
While 2020 showcased the possibilities of home working, it also exposed millions to the challenges of working from home.Â
Research by The Economist found that employees around the world are working longer hours as a result of WFH. Workers in the US are working an average of 32 extra minutes a day, while Isareli employees are putting in an additional 47 minutes per day.
This one study encapsulates one of the biggest problems with working from home. With technology constantly at our fingertips, we always have the ability to work. If left unchecked, this can lead to longer working hours, increased difficulty in switching off and higher stress levels.Â
